Born from a love of the water

Growing up in a small coastal community I have been on and in the water my entire life.  As I grew I became passionate about marine conservation after witnessing my beloved home waters changed for the worse by rampant overfishing and development and pledged to do my part protecting the ocean that I loved.  As a first generation college student my previous dive and boating experience allowed me to work full time as a researcher while taking night classes even allowing me to go to graduate school receiving my Masters.

I started ZG Ocean Consulting after years working in the field when I began noticing a critical gap between the ambitious research goals of many organizations and the specialized manpower and field expertise to execute them.  ZG Ocean Consulting provides high-level field research expertise on a flexible, contract basis for a fraction of the cost of a full or part-time employee.  
By combining expertise with fabrication of BRUVS and other specalized research equipment along with elite technical skills including a captains license with decades of experience, a lifetime of freediving experience, dive instructor rating with over 2,000 professional dives, technical decompression certifications, and a Masters degree in marine science. I offer affordable and unparalleled support for complex marine operations, research endeavors, and filming initiatives.
